Personal Description:

I am tri-lingual, my father was Italian, mother German and I was born and bred in the UK. I trained as an actress at LAMDA (3 yrs) and work as a professional actress and teacher in both the UK and Italy. I founded and ran a successful English speaking theatre company in Rome and have worked in various fields from voice coaching, to directing, from voice overs to translating plays in both English and Italian. I am also a certified Yoga teacher and am a yoga teacher trainer too. I enjoy a challenge, am patient and easy going, as well as being focused on getting results.

Teaching Experience:

I have significant teaching experience in all areas of acting, directing, speech and drama.
I coach professional and established actors for film, t.v. and theatre roles and for auditions.
I prepare students for drama school auditions and businessmen for speeches, presentations and interviews.
I also teach English pronunciation, clients include WFP, Infomap, Medialink, Silverback, Piccolino to name but a few.
I help radio and TV presenters for Music Box TV, RAI TV, RADIO MANAMANA
I have also prepared a stand-up comedians.
I was the Acting in English Tutor for the prestigious National drama School 'Accademia Nazionale D’Arte Dramatica Silvio D’Amico' in Rome.
I have coached the host speakers and compare at the esteemed TEDx event in Rome.
I was also the Creative Writing Tutor at the Italian University SSML Gregorio VII Universita’.

Teaching Approach:

I tailor my classes to suit the student's specific needs. We all learn in different ways and my strengths lie in finding the key to how a student learns best and adapting accordingly. I will discuss the aims and criteria with the student and keep updating our goals as time progresses ensuring that lessons are rewarding as well as challenging.

There is no 'typical' class. I use various methods such as script analysis, character creation, Stanislavski, Meisner and Strasburg techniques. Sometimes classes are more like an actor/director scenario with 'notes'. Whatever the method the class is always fun and rewarding.
