Personal Description:

With internationally published work and an M.A. in photography, my experience will provide you with an array of methods across many levels. If you are looking to improve your camera skills for a career change, help with an existing course, or just for the love of photography, I can help.

After leaving college with an HND in photography I began my career in the early nineties: working as an assistant to Terry O'Niell Richard Croft and John Stoddart. Within a few years Cosmopolitan, **Contact Detail Removed**graph Magazine and Harper Collins were using my portraits.

Music commissions soon followed for editorial and record company clients.

Recent achievements include an M.A. from Falmouth College of Art and the Associate distinction from the Royal Photographic Society.

Teaching Experience:

The knowledge acquired working as a photography lecturer ensures that the teaching style will match your preffered way of learning. If you are unsure of your current level there is a quiz to challenge what you know and to provide you with extra information.

There is a pre-lesson talk about your needs and resources are supplied to improve your knowledge before we start.
I am available to give qualified teaching instruction anywhere within a 25 mile radius of the London area.

Teaching Approach:

Student centered learning with a wide range of delivery styles to suit your needs. Teaching in FE/HE means having to understand that you have a preferred learning style. For many the most successful way to learn is practical with theory later.

Patience, a variety of skills, and expertise all developed while teaching can enable you to achieve your goals. There are a wide range of resources that you can use for additional learning.
