I am an practising artist and lecturer based in London and Cornwall whose has taught at a variety of colleges and universities for 25 years. Originally trained in textiles at degree and masters level my own research made a transition to a fine art practice focused on drawing.
Teaching posts are predominantly at Degree and Foundation level with experience of A level and artist in residence posts in schools. At degree level teaching focuses on drawing skills for across multiple undergraduate pathways.

Approach to teaching is fun, inspiring, passionate and energetic.
Teaching can be tailored to suit the needs and levels of the individual, from traditional approaches in drawing through to experimental workshops.
Improving all core visual studies for fine art and design outcomes, A level and folio preparation for degree courses or one to one adult teaching from beginners through to advanced.
Portfolio preparation for Foundation and Undergraduate courses.
Teaching includes advice on suggested exhibitions /research and lesson programmes if required.I have a wonderful studio to teach in and can organise drawing fieldtrips as a part of the programme.
