Information About Juliette - Haslemere teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Juliette, I live in Haslemere in Surrey where I have worked running my own soft furnishing business. I have 30 years experience in the soft furnishing industry for making hand sewn curtains loose cover and accessories for my clients in and around the 3 counties area. The art of making and constructing a beautiful curtain or re-vitalizing a tired sofa with a fresh set of covers has always bought immense enjoyment and job satisfaction to me and this is something I take pleasure in passing on to others.

Teaching Experience:

I completed the CTLLS (certificate in teaching in the life long learning sector) in January 2013 and have run small courses from my workroom in Haslemere. My courses cover Beginners curtain making and extend to more advance skills including different headings, interlining, roman blinds and cushion making.

Teaching Approach:

I enjoy motivating and watching my students succeed in producing something beautiful for their home. I want them to feel relaxed and at ease with all the techniques used during a days course, and to know they can reproduce their own creations using the exact skills used during their day of teaching.
