Information About Hamish - Southam teacher

Personal Description:

Hamish is a qualified and practicing photographer with over 30 years teaching experience as a qualified teacher and University lecturer.
He teaches full time in the W Midlands area as well as running his Worldwide Travel Photography business 'Photographic Journeys'

Hamish gained his MA Photog after a career in both teaching and photography and was subsequently awarded Fellowships by :
The BIPP (British Institute of Professional Photography) FBIPP
The MPA (Master Photographer's Association) FMPA
He is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, Bath ARPS and sits on the award panel of the The Guild of Photographers as an awards judge and mentor of fellow professionals.

Hamish took his PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) at the University of Strathclyde following his awarded BA from The Arts University in Bournemouth where he studied Photography and Media.

His hobbies outside of photography are travel and adventure and he travels extensively when not teaching.

As a qualified teacher and University lecturer with a 30 year pedigree, working with students is something he is very comfortable with and encourages his students to the maximum with today's contemporary styles and digital photography skills
