Personal Description:

I am an award winning professional actor with 25 years of experience on stage and screen. I have spent the last 9 years appearing on Channel 4's Hollyoaks playing James Nightingale, winning the prestigious Best Actor Award at the 2019 British Soap Awards.
I trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art securing an honours degree in Acting and spent the next fifteen years working regularly in television, film and theatre before moving to the Wirral with my family in 2015.

Teaching Experience:

I have a wide range of teaching experience and have tutored at the well regarded Anamal Dance Company in Hoylake and Liverpools RARE Academy in recent times, as well as teaching in schools up and down the country with the Young Film Academy. I have a number of private students who are working towards their LAMDA examinations or just looking to gain more confidence in the realm of public speaking and performance.

Teaching Approach:

My approach is always based on the student. Everyone has different needs so I aim to set achievable and realistic goals that we can reach together with an emphasis on enjoying the work we do. When it comes to acting you are always at your best when you are relaxed and enjoying yourself so that is the atmosphere I aim to create in my sessions.
