Personal Description:

I’m a Voice and Communications Coach and I help transform the way you speak. I offer voice coaching for native and non-native speaking professionals who want to change the way they sound. I run my own business Speaking Voices. I have 1:1 transformational courses either 3 months or 6 months.

I have 3 degrees, BA Acting, MA Professional Voice Practice and PGCE in Primary Education as well as a Level 5 in TEFL.

I combine all 3 degrees to offer high quality teaching with successful results. All Google reviews have 5*.

Teaching Experience:

All courses are provided with unlimited access to my knowledge and expertise, unlimited offline support both on email and via Whatsapp. Recordings are sent to you. Homework is provided. Feedback given. Also a full detailed voice analysis is given to you and your voice before the course starts.

Received Pronunciation - The course I offer is a 3 month pronunciation course for native speakers to help people to improve their British English Pronunciation. I do not teach grammar, vocabulary, writing or listening. I soley teach pronunciation. I also have an online membership that I run as well, which is a self study programme. 3 Month Native Speakers Only For Elocution = £897 or pay £299 per month. Self Study Membership = £37 per month. The membership is a digital platform with 350 lessons of me teaching you the Received Pronunciation accent and you can upgrade to have a 1:1 lesson if you wish.

Course Outline:
1. Preparation - Learn how to prepare to speak. This is where we will do a vocal assessment, see how your voice is now. 
2. Your Native Sounds - Understand the difference between your language / accent and the British English one.
3. Monophthongs - Learn the 12 single vowel sounds 
4. Diphthongs - Learn the 8 double vowel sounds.
5. Consonants - Learn the 25 consonant sounds.
6. Transitioning - Convert the sounds from reading into conversation.
7. Your Next Steps - Plan how to keep practising your new British English accent.

Drama/Acting - I don't have a specific programme for this. But I went to Royal Birmingham Conservatorie and have taught postgraduate students at the university. My experience is on screen and as a voice coach, I focus on body, breath and the voice. Looking at Patsy Rodenburg, Cecily Berry and Babara Housemann. I worked in TIE and physical theatre as well. I'm still in the acting industry, on Spotlight and have an agent. Can teach you the International Phonetic Alphabet and how to speak RP and US accent. Or career advice. As I was based in Birmingham now moved to London. Can do drama school prep as I've been through the auditions myself.
