Personal Description:

I prepare actors applying for drama school and professional auditions. I have sat on the audition panel at the Bristol Old Vic and I have ten years experience as an actor, appearing in Sherlock, Utopia, Bletchley Circle and Casanova.

Teaching Experience:

I have helped students secure places at every major drama school in the UK, including RADA, LAMDA, BOVTS and Guildhall. A great many have also picked up work for all manner of professional theatre, **Contact Detail Removed**vision and film.

My **Contact Detail Removed**vision work spans BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Netflix, Amazon Prime as well as films on general release. Credits includes Sherlock, Utopia, Bletchley Circle, Life in Squares, The Eichmann Show, Casanova, Silk, Casualty and Midsummer Murders.

My theatre work includes Theatre Royal Haymarket, Regents Park Open Air Theatre, Bath Theatre Royal, Bristol Old Vic, Jermyn Street, Cambridge Arts as well as UK wide tours.

At drama school I was the winner of the Actors Centre's Alan Bates Award for outstanding newcomer 2011, as well as nominee for the Spotlight Prize and recipient of the Robert Hole Bursary for outstanding performance in the classical term. I am signed with Independent Talent, who have represented me since graduation.

Teaching Approach:

Auditions are hard. You can so easily lose what you set out to do when you get in the room. This has certainly happened to me but in my experience working on material together beforehand will better prepare you to give the most unique, embodied and memorable performance you can give. This can mean working in a myriad of ways: analysing the text, exploring what's blocking you, or simply getting on our feet and shaking things up until something unexpected emerges. It may take a few sessions, it take just one, but I am confident we can get you to a place where you leave the audition room feeling your best.
