Personal Description:

I'm a South London based lifestyle photographer with 25 years experience in commercial photography. I mainly shoot food, interiors, architecture and portraits, for clients such as Marks & Spencer, The Globe Theatre, The British Library and various Advertising & Design agencies.
I work equally well within a team of talented stylists and assistants or I'm equally happy working one-to-one with a client - be they chef, business owner, architect or designer.

Teaching Experience:

I've taught photography as a visiting lecturer to Higher Diploma Level at Higher Education College.
I also hold regular group workshops for keen amateur photographers, from my studio or out on location.
**I've helped beginners get to know their cameras and improve the quality of their image making
**parents wanting to take great shots of their children
**students trying to gain a place on a photography degree course
**assistant photographers taking that daunting step up to becoming photographers in their own right
**as well as helping fellow professionals with tricky commissions.

Teaching Approach:

As a professional photographer, it's always been important for me to maintain my passion for image making, as it was this excitement at being able to create beautiful photographs that led me to fulfilling my ambition of being a successful commercial photographer.
When I teach, whether it's with a complete beginner wanting to understand how their camera works or with an experienced photographer wanting to brush up on their technique, I try to share with my pupils, my excitement & passion for photography.
