Personal Description:
I have worked in educational and children’s **Contact Detail Removed**vision as a producer, director and writer for the past 28 years. I have made over 500 programmes for broadcast on the BBC, Channel 4, and around the world. I been BAFTA nominated, and have won numerous awards in the UK and internationally, including several Royal **Contact Detail Removed**vision Society awards, the Japan Prize and a Peabody award.
I am married (my wife’s called Chris too) with two children, Roz studying History at London University, and David studying at a college for students with autism and learning difficulties.
Teaching Experience:
Before going into **Contact Detail Removed**vision writing and directing I was an English and Drama teacher for 10 years, latterly as Head of Department.
Teaching Approach:
I help people learn through motivating them and building their confidence. I aim to make learning thorough, clear, enjoyable and inspirational, and to make obscure things interesting, complex things simple, and dull things entertaining. Everyone has strengths that I aim to build on and help develop and shape.
