Personal Description:
I am a potter who makes and sells functional stoneware ceramics. I've been obsessed with clay since the moment my hands first touched it, and I love to share the joy of pottery with others. I think pottery should be accessible to everyone so I will come to your own home or venue for private or group sessions, all you need is a surface to work on.
Teaching Experience:
I teach occasionally as a guest tutor in a local pottery studio, and am due to start teaching at Bath College.
Teaching Approach:
My approach to teaching is fairly relaxed and informal. I will demonstrate all main hand-building techniques to achieve different forms, and if the student wishes to make a particular item I will show the different ways they can achieve their goals.
