Information About Zamavuso - Umlazi tutor

Personal Description:

I studied a bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems and Geology and I have recently graduated with MSc in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing. In 2022, I graduated with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Natural Science and Geography). Therefore, I can teach Natural Science, Geography, Social Science and Life Science. Furthermore, I am an empathetic, friendly and a patient tutor. I know and understand what it’s like to be a student who may feel
stressed, overwhelmed or just not understanding the material taught in class. Allow me to take all your worries away by explaining the concepts at your own pace and your own preferred method.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching since September 2022 at Canaan College. I am teaching Social Science and Life Orientation to grade 8 and 9.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a flexible tutor, meaning that I adjust my techniques and approaches to meet the learning styles of the students. I also make sure that the student is following the lesson by constantly asking questions. The examples that I use for all the lessons are the things that the student will be familiar with from their day to day lives. Last but not least, I do not do homework for the student but I am always there to guide them.
