I currently Work as a Freelance Editor (Theses and dissertations)
Reading speed of 50 A4 pages per hour including superficial edits (spelling and punctuation).
Unique Three Phase Editing process:
Phase 1: Narrative analysis (Content, Context and Structure)
Phase 2: Language coherence (Morphology, Phonology, Syntax and Semantics)
Phase 3: Structural edits and document formatting (Indexing, Referencing, Numbering, Section and Page splits, Font, etc.)
The most recent dissertation that I edited was published in de jure (University of Pretoria law Journal), the title is: The legal implications of the duty to disclose, misrepresentation and good faith in Insurance policies.by Luyanda Dumisa (University of Pretoria Master's student 2021).

Tutoring Experience:

To you I bring in-person tutoring knowledge gleaned over 20 years and tutoring (Primary School, High School and University Peers) and an understanding of how language is used functionally (Context, tone and register) and how it is used Creatively (Narrative Analysis).

I speak and write English Fluently and spent three years volunteering as a high school and University debater trainer (World Schools style and the British Parliamentary style), debate adjudicator and later moved on to training debate trainers. My classmates are the first people that I remember tutoring.

Tutoring Approach:

I tailor my lesson plans according to specific individual needs. There are multiple ways to learn and multiple ways of learning and each person learns in their own way but what is true for all is that we learn most and best when we are most relaxed and comfortable, in fact we learn the most when we are having fun.

i don't just tutor the subject, i make it a point to reveal the pleasure in learning.
