Personal Description:

I am passionate about education and working with youth. Coming from a psychology background, I aim to work with students by understanding their concerns and goals. My other interests include research and photography

Tutoring Experience:

For the last 12 years I have had experience in facilitation, tutoring, and teaching teens and young adults. Most of my experience lies in teaching the Cambridge syllabus from Checkpoint to A-Level in English language and psychology, and in offering exam workshops.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is based on modelling and supportive practice. For students who experience difficulties in understanding a task and completing a written piece, it can often be beneficial to provide scaffolding that will later enable them to attempt the tasks independently and with more confidence. I encourage my students to be active and responsible learners by fostering a positive, supportive environment in which to learn.
