Personal Description:

Hi everyone! I'm an English teacher from South Africa, and I absolutely love working with school kids and teenagers like you. I'm always super excited about the subject English. I try to make my classes fun and engaging by using cool tech, group activities, and interesting discussions.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been teaching English for 14 years, and I'm familiar with both the CAPS and IEB systems. I have experience teaching English to Grade 11 and Grade 12 students and I was also the Head of English. I recently completed a Level 5 TEFL Diploma course to help students who find English challenging. I have an English degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, and I also completed an intensive six-month postgraduate Editing Course with distinction at the University of Pretoria.

Tutoring Approach:

I enjoy using Microsoft Office and Google Suite to create engaging and fun content for my lessons. I love bringing creativity into my classroom through technology and multimedia. Discussions on various topics really inspire me, and I always encourage them because they are essential to learning English. I'm here to help you improve your language, comprehension, and essay writing skills and to make engaging with the English language enjoyable!
