Personal Description:
I am a BSc Microbiology graduate from the University of Pretoria. I majored in Microbiology and Biochemistry. I attended The King's School West Rand for high school education where I took Accounting, Physics, Life Sciences and Mathematics from grade 10-12. I am a gentle young lady who is understanding and patient. I am also very organized, accommodative and a great listener.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 3 years of tutoring experience. i have tutored Physical science both the IEB and GDE syllabus. I have also tutored 1st year Biology and second year Biochemistry to university students.
Tutoring Approach:
Most of my lessons are online via zoom, during these sessions, I either help the pupil with homework or do revision for the work covered thus far in their curriculum. Besides ensuring that the learner understands the theory/ concepts covered in the syllabus, i also provide the learner with different practical examples to apply the theory where possible. I use the SIYAVULA TEXTBOOK and other additional online resources. The learner may request for their own textbook to be used as the main resource, provided that the parents are willing to purchase a copy for the tutor as well. In this case, the book will be returned to the learner at the end of the year so that you may resell it (if you want).
