Personal Description:
My love for biology became evident in High School. Due to not having taken Physical Science to Matric I was unable to get into Medical School. This didn’t stop me as I now have a Bachelor of Science in Kinetics and Ergonomics & Zoology. I completed challenging subjects like first year Chemistry and Statistics. I love being a biology teacher as I am able to give students an insight into the workings of their own body! As a Kinetics graduate I have a particular interest in Sport too.
Tutoring Experience:
Since then, I have become a Life Science teacher for high schools - I have taught in the Middle East, the UK as well as Port Elizabeth. While teaching I have completed a BEd honours in Education Management. I have taught Life Science, NS, EMS, Maths Lit and CAT in South Africa while teaching General Science & Maths in the Middle East.
Tutoring Approach:
I love experiential learning. I find that students remember best when things have been presented in graphic form, or physically experienced themselves.
