Personal Description:

I am a born-again Christian doing his second-year towards attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in Psychology and English). I am passionate about teaching, speaking, learning, communication and lending a helping hand to the individuals that need it. I have been tutored by individuals who share the same sentiment, and i see it fit to pass on the mantle to others as well. To shed a light to the academic areas people find challenging. I am not one who is up for a challenge; but i believe that this is the first step to a journey of a thousand miles. I am enjoy public speaking and like to think outside the box. I use the minute day-to-day concepts of life to learn and grow into an individual that makes a difference. I am bubble and humorous. If the day sets and I have not cracked a joke and made an individual smile and/or burst into tears, i feel that I have missed the mark. And most importantly, I am interested in other people than I am about myself so that I learn about theIR backgrounds, languages, skills, abilities and talents that motivate and inspire me to do better than yesterday.

Tutoring Experience:

I am recently offering tutoring to a first-year student studying towards a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology and it is wonderful. I get to provide assistance to the student in all thing university, and assist them in finding their foot in this new journey they are on. Additionally, I receive assistance too from the student: to learn new concepts and see life from a different perspective.

Tutoring Approach:

Life is a two-way street. Vehicle going to a destination, and vehicles coming from a destination. Tutoring is that way too. As I tutor an individual on their journey to a destination, I believe that the student also will tutor me in a shape, form or fashion that I am not accustomed to with things I am not knowledgeable about. My approach to tutoring is to allow an individual to think critically and analytically about the day-to-day things of life, so that they apply them to their studies. Almost always we automatically put theory into practice, but when we sit down and think on how that came to be, we are enlightened and see things from a different perspective. And that is my hope in tutoring.
