Personal Description:
I am a kind, compassionate, caring, mature lady who has a passion for helping to empower younger children and adults, through education. I am VERY patient, and don't mind going over a concept numerous times, until it is mastered.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been a Grade 4 and 5 class teacher for the past 43 years, teaching all subjects (English, Afrikaans, Maths, History, Geography and Natural Sciences). My passion is younger children (pre-school to Grade 7).
Tutoring Approach:
My tutoring approach is individualised, so differs from person to person. Having 43 years of teaching experience behind me, I am able to adjust my level and focus accordingly. I believe that learning takes place when the learner is happy and relaxed, so I aim to successfully provide this atmosphere. I am endlessly patient.
