Personal Description:
Hi. I am Miss Rehana, teacher and tutor. I tutor kids from grade R up to grade 9. I tutor English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and provide assistance in other subjects. I am also a homeschooling teacher and help parents homeschool their children. I am also a preschool teacher , certified ESL teacher and Phonics Instructor. I teach adults as well.
Tutoring Experience:
I was lead teacher and tutor at a homework centre in Umbilo and ran it for years… I received a certificate of appreciation from the homework centre for outstanding performance. I am now operating from home and have different programmes for the kids.
Tutoring Approach:
I use various methods in tutoring. Not all students understand one particular method. I use the method that suits my student best. I am always asking my students on their preference regarding methods. Notes are a must. Every student is given an exercise book to write notes. I also assist and guide with assignments and projects.
