Personal Description:
I am an Afrikaans-speaking male, originating from Pretoria, South Africa. I currently hold a 4-year Bachelor of Education degree in further education training & senior phases with majors in Social Sciences. I also hold an honours degree from the University of Johannesburg in Educational Leadership and Management. I am passionate about teaching. I believe that it is a calling to be able to help learners online to the best of my abilities.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 5 years teaching experience from grades 4 to grade 12.
First years: Student teacher at Hoërskool Hans Strijdom in Naboomspruit presenting English FAL gr.8 as well as Social Sciences grade 8 - 10.
Laerskool Nylstroom: Afrikaans HT grade 6 & Social Sciences gr. 4&6 as well as Natural Sciences and Technology Grade 6.
Laerskool Eugene N Marais: Afrikaans FAL & HT gr.4-6. Social Sciences Gr. 6

Tutoring Approach:
I want learners with all cognitive abilities to love and understand Social Sciences. It is a subject that we all use each day, from maps through to historical routes and sites. Our whole identity evolves from Social Sciences. I would like to reach out to children struggling to understand Social Sciences, with regards to Geography and History to love the subject as much as I do. Visually, I will go above and beyond to help children understand.
