Personal Description:

I am a fun, hard-working and calm individual. I, in my opinion, am probably the best definition of work hard play hard. I know how to create a balance between my social life, academics and work. I am an avid of basketball and cricket. I enjoy thrifting,as it's cheaper, and coding during the weekends. I am also a big fan of travelling - although I have never left the country. I am an aspiring entrepreneur hoping to make my innovative dream a reality.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2019, during my A-level year, I was a Mathematics tutor for a grade nine student at my school. I did it for about 5-6 months, at least once or twice a week. This year, I have taught more than 150 lessons. These include teaching matric Maths and Physics, Cambridge A-level Maths and Physics and even grade 1 Science and Maths.

Tutoring Approach:

I first teach the content and ask the student if they understand and have any questions as the lesson progresses. After doing this, I do some examples to help the student further understand before allowing them to do a couple of examples. When the student gets comfortable with the questions from the textbook, we do a few past paper questions to get the student familiar with the questions in exam papers. It is very important to dictate the pace that you move depending on how strong the student is academically - they are all different after all. Being 20 makes it easier to relate students making it much easier to tutor in a fun way.
