Personal Description:
I'm a 28 year old qualified teacher. I currently work for Department of Education teaching history and English at a high school level. I hold Post Graduate Certificate in Education as well as Honors degree in Psychology. I'm highly driven by work ethic.
Tutoring Experience:
I have worked with private sector in education for 10 months and I'm currently working as an educator in a government school where I'm offering History and English. I have worked as a tutor for 2 years
Tutoring Approach:
One on one is the best approach for me as it allows me to understand my student and prepare teaching techniques that work for them. I use both teacher centered and learner centered approach. I as a teacher believe both a learner and a teacher are involved in the teaching /learning process and both should be given opportunity to lead. How so? after delivering a lesson I give a learner an opportunity to take lead in a form of questioning. I explore different learning approaches with my student until we are both satisfied with the lesson.
