Personal Description:

I am a retired Financial Manager with 30 years corporate accounting experience, of which 10 years on supervisory/management level.
I have studied toward a BCom degree up to second year level. I have been responsible for ensuring that financial records are correctly processed, investigating errors and rectifying where necessary. I am methodical with high attention to detail . Analysing data and reconciliations are my strong points and accounting has always been my passion more than just being a job.

Tutoring Experience:

Although I have no formal teaching experience, I have been involved in training of staff in some of the companies that I worked at.
I have great patience when it comes to mentoring and am confident that I will exercise the same with students that I deal with.

Tutoring Approach:

I always strive to develop the learner's existing skills while building self-confidence. I focus on problem areas and provide guided practice. I also monitor the learner's progress on on-going basis to ensure overall improvement.
