Personal Description:

I have done my teaching practice as a third year in the FET phase for the period of July- August 2019. During my teaching practice, I have taught grade 10 Business Studies and by random chances, also taught grade 11 and grade 12 Business Studies and Geography. From there, I have gained the experience of using methods such as Inquiry-based instruction, Differentiation, Indirect guided and problem-based approach which are all learner-centred and very much effective to teaching the Business Studies and Geography content. I am willing to use these teaching methods in your programme and also explore more because Business Studies is perceived by learners as a subject that has a large volume of notes for them to attain. However, I believe that being given this opportunity to work in your programme, I will do everything in power to change that perspective of learners about the subject and also gain more advance knowledge of teaching Business Studies and Geography and uplift your vision by producing good results.

Tutoring Experience:

Student Teacher at Ukzn and also volunteering by teaching education studies module every semester when it is near the exams time has allowed me to work closely with my campus fellow students and their issues such as difficulties in studying and understanding the module, while in that busy schedule developing strong communication skills and time management skills and the results are proven in my academic record.
