Personal Description:
I have a lot of patience. I am hard working and trustworthy. I always do my best and follow through.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 5 years of experience in teaching in the foundation phase (grades R-3). While studying, I have tutored a Gr. 4 boy with Angelman syndrome for a year, helping him to grasp mathematical concepts. With willingness and hard work from the boy, his grades improved.
Tutoring Approach:
When a child struggles to understand a certain concept when learning, I like to go back to the basics of that concept to see what the child knows and work from there to assure that the concept is understood. I am passionate about teaching and helping children to grow and develop in the unique way they are meant to be. I believe that everyone and anyone has the chance to be successful while working hard to reach their goals.
