Personal Description:

I am a Law graduate with LLB (Hons) degrees from UCT (University of Cape Town) and the University of Newcastle (England). It gives me great pleasure to draw up this profile on my academic achievements because, with a positive attitude and discipline, I believe anyone can reach their goals.

Tutoring Experience:

As a 90% plus learner throughout my schooling career, I often tutored my younger friends and family. I have also volunteered as a teacher for children with learning disabilities.

Tutoring Approach:

As a tutor, it is essential to display high levels of patience and determination, to assess and mainpulate the approach areas where learners stuggle several times over, while keeping the end goal in mind: academic excellence.

Firstly, a student's thinking style is assessed with a few analytical examples. Secondly, a teaching structure is tailored to suit the student. Finally, the complexity of the questions will increase with the improvement noted in the learner. In summary, the key to successful tutoring is abstaining from a 'one size fits all' approach. Different teaching methods work well for different minds and therefore, a situational, rather than a uniformed approach is opted for.
