Information About Mosope - Claremont tutor

Personal Description:

In 2019, I obtained my matric certificate from St Mary's DSG in Pretoria with one of my highest marks being 91% in Mathematical Literacy. My chosen subjects in high school were History, Business, French, and AP English. I am now currently enrolled at the University of Cape Town as a Final year student, studying a Bachelor in Social Science degree with Politics, Industrial Sociology, and Social Development as my chosen Majors.
I am very passionate about learning especially considering how fast-paced the world is, there will always be new things to learn.

Tutoring Experience:

I participated in peer tutoring while in high school and also volunteered multiple times as a tutor in a few orphanages throughout the years. I was a member of the Junior School Liason department of my high school and am therefore experienced when approaching and explaining various concepts and topics to young children.

Tutoring Approach:

I am willing to explore any new approaches where deemed necessary in order for the learner to learn and retain such knowledge in an effective manner. I am able to provide: mind maps, illustrations, and as well as videos in order to have an effective approach. I understand that there is not only one approach to learning so I make sure that I am first aware of the child's learning style .
For example if the learner is a kinetic learner, I am able to determine which approaches would be suitable and as a qualifying provincial netball player, I am more than happy to run around for a while with a child if necessary.
