Personal Description:
I am a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) who believes that accounting and finance can be made as easy as ABC, just as long as the student is willing to learn. I have worked in the aviation space for 15 years as an accountant and finance controller. In all my positions, I have found teaching and training to be very enjoyable. I have always been passionate about accounting, finance and risk management, and I find satisfaction in imparting knowledge and mentoring high school, university and professional graduates.
Tutoring Experience:
I have tutored several students on a one on one basis, mainly at university level, focusing in finance, accounting , economics and risk management. In addition to university students, I tutor and mentor CIMA students at operational, management and strategic level.
Tutoring Approach:
I am flexible to adapt and meet the learning style and requirements of the student. I believe in creating a participative environment where the student is comfortable to share, ask questions, probe the information being delivered and question and theory. I am quite professional,I deliver my lessons in a professional manner that does not look down upon my students, but show respect and promotional of confidentiality where needed. I help students learn to be independent thinkers and researchers.
