Personal Description:

All through my years of gaining and receiving experience, I have always been teaching others in return. My passion for people of all ages and walks of life has pushed me forward to a different industry. That intense passion holds steady as I serve others. I am a mentor, a child-at-heart, an Empath. I am motivated to teach English to children and young adults. I have the patience and the perseverance to go far with my students while they succeed in learning English. I strive to empower young minds and serve them because I believe that it is my Calling. Individuals coming into our paths have something to teach us or something we can teach them. It is due to this passion I have for people which made me realise that I can make a difference in their lives.

Tutoring Experience:

I have always served others, be it in restaurants as a waitress, in **Contact Detail Removed**communication companies as a sales consultant, or office administrator in the corporate world. I have always been able to teach individuals on a "one-on-one" or group and impact their lives through training and guidance.

As a waitress, I took it upon myself to teach a group of beginner waitrons how to serve customers. I showed them how to anticipate and watch body language, disregard internalising negative responses and be courteous at all times. I motivated them to always achieve goals and assess their progress.

As a sales consultant, I taught people who were unfamiliar with their **Contact Detail Removed**phone devices (mainly those who didn't understand the technology) how to use them. I gave after-sales service and quick tutoring whenever they came back to the store for assistance.

While I worked as an office administrator, I taught university students who came to our call center for training, on how **Contact Detail Removed**phone and e-mail etiquette can benefit them in the corporate world. I also taught them to give at least one solution when they go to their managers with a problem.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe patience, guidance and understanding of how students learn are always a great start to teaching. Keep the momentum and motivation for their success at a high mark with empathy and encouragement. Serving and helping many children and young adults with their progress in English is not only a passion for me, it allows me to give back to those who need it. We will draw up a Progress Sheet, which will help us monitor the declines and inclines in each module. It will also assist us with the targets required in passing English. A student's success is my reward - as more students get involved, the more people encourage eachother to reach for their goals. Never give up! When students persevere, they will make that breakthrough and I cannot wait to be part of it.
