Personal Description:

I am a fun, friendly and creative person. I love to engage in conversation and am capable in relating to people at all levels from all walks of life. I have good listening and communication skills with a positive approach, as well as a good sense of humor.
I am a dedicated and reliable individual who is passionate about making a real difference to people’s lives through teaching.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a private tutor/teacher, one-on-one, for the past 10 years. I also had my own private institution for after-school care, helping with homework and preparations for exams in different subjects. I help Afrikaans FAL students to improve their understanding, as well as conversational skills, reading and writing, of the anguage.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is having an open and receptive mind so that I can adjust to the needs and expectations of my student. I believe in having a confident, positive approach, which will in turn, motivate my student and make him/her eager to learn.
I am committed to the learning and development of students, young or old, giving them the best possible education and helping them to develop a passion for learning and the ability to speak Afrikaans or English with confidence.
