Personal Description:

I am a young, vibrant, hardworking man with a passion for knowledge and imparting it. I graduated with an honours degree in chemical pathology and am currently doing my master's in pharmacology. Growing up, I struggled a lot with academics due to a few issues. the first was accessibility to tutors and the second was due to my inability to move at the pace of the class as I was always confused. it took me a number of years to learn how to assimilate knowledge and how best to understand concepts through fun learning practises. I hope to take the same methods and pass them on to students like me who need them.

Tutoring Approach:

I generally start by assessing the child to check their gaps in knowledge and where they might need help specifically. my second course of action is to give feedback to the parents and inform them of anything I have noticed and what areas I believe their child needs the most help. from there, I work to discover the type of learner the child is ( visual, audio etc.) and try to centre my teaching around that to help them learn better. what I find helps best is to prepare notes based on the topic that I think the learner can understand. at the end of every topic I round it up with one to two assessments that the learner has to complete so I can see if they understood the topic
