I am a retired teacher, with 13 years of Afrikaans Home Language, and 20 years of Afrikaans First Additional Language experience. I enjoy the academic environment and the growth that my learners show when developing their new language skills.

I prefer approaching the learning of Afrikaans by focusing on the language structures and insight in literature.
For learning Afrikaans as an additional language, my emphasis is on the vocabulary and comprehension of text as a whole.
I prefer a personal development with each of my students to ensure a custom made learning structure that will boost his/her knowledge of the language.
