Personal Description:
My students call me Dr Glynn. I love teaching and seeing the happiness in the eyes of my students as they understand that they can excel.
Tutoring Experience:
Teaching from primary school level to university over more than 50 years has taught me that where there's a will, there's a way. No one needs to stumble along without help.
The sorts of things I have experience in teaching (and love most) are reading, writing, arguing, thinking and expressing oneself.
Tutoring Approach:
Through conversation and small steps, I build up a relationship of trust with the tutee. There is no room for embarrassment in a tutoring conversation. I know that the best way to learn is through trusting the tutor to respect the tutee at whatever stage she or he is at. All tutees like to be affirmed and encouraged.
