Personal Description:

Hi, I studied Mechanical engineering but moved over to teaching because my passion is to help students achieve their greatest potential. I have been involved in teaching students (grade 10-12) physical science through an NGO for over thirteen years.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught physical science in schools for over thirteen years. I have also done evening classes, working in large groups but also online tutoring for individual high school students.

Tutoring Approach:

I focus on trying to get the student to understand concepts instead of ro**Contact Detail Removed**arning. Also at the start, I allow the student highlight their problem areas. Every student is different and therefore will require a tailored tutoring approach. I believe that most students who require tutoring have missed some fundamental steps or misunderstood a concept and therefore struggle. I want to show the basic principles of each concept and once that is grasped, the more complex problems can be tackled.
