Information About Emma - Constantia tutor

Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about teaching, helping children and always putting in extra effort. I am beyond passionate about children and there is nothing better than helping a child learn and succeed.

I put work in behind the scenes to create resources that are both beneficial and useful for each individual student.

Tutoring Experience:

I finished my second year as an intermediate phase student at Stellenbosch University at the end of 2023. I have helped Primary school children with their homework as well as researching extra subjects to be proficient in before tutoring in a session. I have done over 10 weeks of practical experience in primary schools so I have a lot of experience with behavior management.

I have achieved high averages throughout High School in all subjects I offer. I am currently receiving an 80% average for my intermediate phase course.

Tutoring Approach:

I provide an interactive approach which is personalised for each student and their needs. I either create or find resources based on each students age and skill level that will be beneficial for each student. I believe in a student centred approach therefore my tutoring session will follow this approach. I am good at receiving constructive feedback to adapt to whatever is not working.
