Information About Emanuel - Vanderbijlpark tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Emanuel. I am a highly motivated and friendly individual. I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Accountancy in 2022 and currently pursuing a Postgrad degree, a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Financial Accountancy. I am an aspiring Chartered Accountant with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants(SAICA). I am a patient tutor with more than 2 years of experience.

Tutoring Experience:

In 2020 during my undergrad, I was appointed by the School of Accounting Sciences in the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences as a Tutor/Supplementary Instructor to first year Accounting student at North West University. I thoroughly enjoyed it and my motivation came from the positive feedback I received from my students. I held both contact classes, before the pandemic, and online classes with more than 100 students.

As a marker of tests and exams in the current academic year(2023), I also provide constructive feedback to students after marking their assessments on how to improve their exam techniques when writing assessments.

I am also an English teacher on an online platform. I have more than 2 years of work experience teaching students from China, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Poland, France and more. I am a certified and have obtained a 120 Hours TEFL certificate.

Tutoring Approach:

My lessons are fun, interactive and beneficial. Every learner is different, thus my lessons are tailored for each student, taking into account their accounting needs, goals and more. Comfortability is important in any learning environment. Learners are more ready to learn when they are relaxed. I also give constructive feedback to the learner, making sure that they understand the content.

The leaner can provide the curriculum for the lesson or I can provide material once I know the level the student is at and the type of work they do at school or university.
