Personal Description:

I am a strong passionate person who loves working with children and adolescence alike. My profession, or rather my vocation is teaching. I do what I love and love what I do.

Tutoring Experience:

I have had the privilege of not only doing my various practical hours at a few schools, but I have also taught at an amazing institution! The various schools I have completed my hours in Foundation Phase were Bryandale Primary School and Bryneven Primary School. They are not only great schools to work at as a teacher, but they are phenomenal to their learners as well. My high school experience was one to remember. I taught both Life Science as well as Physical Science to grade's 7, 8 and 9 at De La Salle Holy Cross College. It was a truly humbling and enlightening experience and would return in a drop of a hat!

Tutoring Approach:

It is simple. When it comes to Science, the learner is the teacher, the explorer, the Scientist! I merely lead them to the correct methods through discussions and insightful questions. Practice is key! Without practice, we cannot hope to achieve that which we have set out for ourselves. After we engage in the topics in question, and explaining how one goes about figuring out the correct method or answer, we then practice the techniques with a variety of different scenarios. The same goes for Foundation Phase.
