Personal Description:
I am a qualified Occupational Hygiene Assistant, having completed my Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Occupational Hygiene at the University of Pretoria in 2021. I have undergone teacher training as well and I hold a teaching certificate known as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate. I am very passionate about helping people and I believe that teaching is one way to help individuals reach their full potential.
Tutoring Experience:
I have more than 1 year of tutoring experience, tutoring high school students that needed assistance with Mathematics, Science, and English (including online sessions). I have also assisted students that needed a reader and scriber for their tests and exams. My most recent client needed tutorial assistance for a child with special needs.
Tutoring Approach:
Interactive sessions are my preferred approach to Tutoring. Working through exercises, past exams, helping with homework and/or assignments is a practical way to provide support to students with academic needs.
In the current age, mentorship is very key to the academic future of our kids.
