Personal Description:
I am a results driven teacher with a keen ability to motivate my students in order to achieve their full potential. Through the use of various teaching methods I prefer to tailor our lessons as to best suit the student. Science is my life and I take great joy in sharing my knowledge.
Tutoring Experience:
My tutoring experience started at university in 2008, working with predominantly high school students. This experience revealed my innate appreciation for the learning process which led to my employment by a Cambridge college as a science and maths teacher in the northern suburbs in 2010.
Tutoring Approach:
Science and maths requires regular practice, it is the key to unlocking the mind's logic gates. Tailoring each lesson to the student's needs is essential in a productive lesson. Communication between the parents, the student and I is imperative for success. Topics need to be covered thoroughly as to develop a secure understanding before attempting homework assignments. I provide worksheets and past exam papers for additional practice. I focus on teaching students examination language so that they may best interpret their questions to gain the most possible marks.
