Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Intermediate Phase Teaching. With a strong passion for helping students excel in English, Maths, and Social Sciences, I focus on making learning interactive and engaging. I believe in creating a classroom environment where students can approach problems with confidence, knowing that solutions will be worked through together. I love interacting with children and find it incredibly rewarding to see them grow and gain new knowledge, no matter how small.

As a problem solver, I encourage my students to view challenges as opportunities for growth. I offer in-person tutoring on weekends and prefer online sessions during the week, making me flexible and adaptable to different learning needs and schedules.

Tutoring Experience:

I have practical teaching experience from BASA Tutorial, where I taught NSTECH, Economics and Management Science, and Social Sciences from August 2023 to November 2023. During this time, I gained hands-on experience in creating lesson plans, engaging with students, and effectively delivering content.

Afterward, I worked as an Education Assistant at Enkanyezini Primary School, a role that deepened my passion for education. It was there that I discovered my love for helping students beyond the classroom. I started extra learning programs at home to support learners with their homework and volunteered to assist them in subjects they struggled with. This experience further solidified my desire to work with intermediate phase students, and I am excited to continue tutoring them.

In my teaching approach, I focus on making learning interactive and fun by incorporating game-based strategies. I design games based on the curriculum content, allowing students to learn while playing. This method helps make the learning process enjoyable, engaging, and memorable, which I believe fosters a deeper understanding of the material.
