Information About Ursula - Taradale tutor

Personal Description:

I'm Ursula and I live in Napier. I'm a qualified and experienced ESOL (English to Speakers of other Languages) tutor. I did my studies to be an ESOL tutor in the UK and taught there for about 5 years before moving to New Zealand with my family… I am originally from Poland and learnt English as a Second Language thus I feel I can explain certain aspects of English with ease. Also I a mum of three kids. I love making a difference to people's lives and helping others GAIN CONFIDENCE and inspiring them to reach their potential.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught students from all over the world: China, Japan, Korea, Spain, India, Brazil, Poland at various levels from Beginners to Upper Intermediate. I taught ESOL classes in London for 5 years preparing students (aged 18-60) towards exams and working on their communicative skills. I got a Tutor of the Year Award in 2010 for achieving great results with my students. I also worked with English Language Partners here in New Zealand last year teaching Grammar, Kiwi Conversation classes and General English.

Tutoring Approach:

My lessons are 100% focused on learners' language needs, whether it's speaking& listening, writing, grammar or reading. One-to-one classes enable you to work at your own pace and if your focus is on speaking, there's lots of conversations built into the lessons and kiwi slang too.
