Personal Description:
I am a Chartered Accountant with over ten years of experience. I studied the Cambridge curriculum at school and went to University at 15. I have always been interested in helping people and improving.
Tutoring Experience:
I started my first formal tutoring when I was in my late teens. Since then I have been doing tutoring on a ad hoc basis.
I also have taught children for over 10 years as a leader of the Sunday School program in several different Churches which I have been a part of.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to tailor my teaching method to the needs of the individual. Different students learn differently whether that be by audio, visual or kinesthetic methods. I start by building a strong foundation with the basics as I believe this is key to understanding more complex topics. Once my students have a strong understanding of the basics I work with them through more complex topics. I work best with students who are self-motivated and want to learn as I believe that I can help students who wish to learn however I am unable to force anyone who doesn't want to learn to learn.
