Personal Description:
I have a Master of Engineering degree from University of Auckland. I am now a NZ-trained secondary school teacher specialising in Mathematics teaching.
Tutoring Experience:
I have more than 5 years experience as a private tutor of Maths to primary and secondary school students. I have home-schooled my own children in mathematics - both are working a few years ahead of school in Maths.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe each child is differently-abled. Therefore, each will need customised tutoring methods. My general approach is to teach the basics well to form a strong foundation for more complex mathemathical skills. My methods are tailored to every child so that each can perform to their own personal best.
