Personal Description:
Hi there! I am a fourth-year Civil Engineering student at the University of Auckland. Currently holding a GPA of 7.33. I love to explore the realm of science, watching physics experiments or mathematical theories whenever I have time, but also exercise regularly by going to the gym, or playing sports such as badminton and rugby.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching for the past three years and have taught over 800 hours in NCEA level 2-3 Calculus and Physics. My students usual improve by one grade or more depending on the amount of time spent with me. Most students will continue into tertiary education at universities such as Imperial College of London, University of Auckland, and Otago University.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in order to truly excel in math and physics, one must understand the fundamentals behind each concept and establish a firm foundation. So in the case when a student is struggling with a concept, I will make sure the student understands the component which builds up to the newer concepts then explaining the concept itself, this way the student can know when and how to use such a concept in the exams.
