Personal Description:
With over 6 years of teaching experience in Chemistry and Biology, I am passionate about helping students excel in the sciences. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, providing me with a strong foundation in scientific principles, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching, equipping me with effective educational strategies.
My background as a pharmacist allows me to connect theory to real-world applications, making complex topics more accessible. I am dedicated to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence in my students.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a full-time, New Zealand-trained Chemistry and Biology teacher experienced in both NCEA and CAIE.
I currently tutor students at NCEA Levels 2 and 3, as well as those following the CAIE pathway.
Tutoring Approach:
I adapt my teaching strategies to meet the needs of each student, ensuring optimal learning outcomes and academic success. I also provide valuable tips and tricks on how to effectively answer exam questions, ensuring students feel confident and well-prepared for their assessments.
