Personal Description:
I am a passionate New Zealand-trained and registered Science Teacher for 14 years who specialises in all NCEA Science Subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Biology and General Science). I am able to do online and in person tutoring. I follow the New Zealand Curriculum and teach students from years 9-13. I tutor in 1-hour sessions. I use a smartboard device to deliver lessons and make notes as they would learn face-to-face in a classroom. Teaching notes can be provided after each session if required. I offer one-off lessons, which are perfect before an exam or test to go over concepts, or I can provide a free 30-minute consultation to understand your strengths to design a tailored course. I provide assistance in preparation for internals and externals.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been in the teaching profession for 14 years. I have taught all general and specialised Sciences up to NCEA Level 3. Before teaching Science, I was a research scientist for 5 years, so my research expertise, coupled with my teaching experience, makes me a confident tutor for all Sciences. I currently teach at a Secondary School in Napier. My students are gaining exemplary NCEA results year after year.

I am a very patient tutor and build my course around each student's needs. I am reliable, punctual, and make every effort for my students to enjoy learning. I make my lessons interesting by using lots of different and effective teaching techniques.
