Personal Description:
I am a Public Health reseqrcher. I did my Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from Massey University, Wellington. While I was a student I did peer mentoring for college students and also tutoring for high school students.
I am currently working on research projects on contractual basis and am planning to return to tutoring in my spare time.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching friends and family since I was myself in school. I have a deep understanding of subjects I specialized in and am keen to forward that knowledge. I have 2+ years of experience in teaching NCEA students in NZ, along with mentoring college(undergrad) students through their assignments.
In Pakistan I have recently co-supervised 2 M-Phill students and 1 MS students through their thesis writing.
Tutoring Approach:
I love learning myself and more than that implementing knowledge in everyday life. That is why I have an open mind towards learning and imparting knowledge to others. The teaching sessions will be intelligent and light hearted, to help students learn at their own pace.
I will focus on basic concepts so it is easier to memorize theory and implement what is learned in practice/ tests.
