Personal Description:
I am a qualified teacher with 15 years experience in tutoring and teaching Russian/English/French languages. I have my degree from a major Linguistic University in Russia and next year I will undertake a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Secondary programme at Auckland University in New Zealand.
Tutoring Experience:
After the University I worked at a bilingual school in Russia. Then I did work as an interpreter/translator overseas. Throughout my life overseas I did extensive tutoring for English/French/Russian. I am a strong believer of bilingual education and immersion teaching of foreign languages. I cater different approach to a level of a student depending on the requirements necessary.
Tutoring Approach:
I develop different methods of teaching depending on the level of requirement and knowledge. I like to stress out the importance of the correct pronunciation and like to work to improve it. I prefer to develop communication skills when for the common use of a language. As for the school students I can work within the NZ curriculum requirement. Reading recovery, grammar and writing are covered by my teaching system.
