Personal Description:
I am Dr. Marryum residing in Christchurch for last 10 years. I did my PhD in International Economics from University of Canterbury, Christchurch. I am specialized for a wide range of various disciplines of Economics including international trade, microeconomics, macroeconomics, managerial economics and theoretical and applied econometrics.
Tutoring Experience:
I have a vast university teaching experience of around 12 years. Throughout my my PhD study tenure, I used to work for Department of Economics and Finance (University of Canterbury) as tutor my undergraduate and postgraduate classes.
Tutoring Approach:
Based on my prior teaching experience, I strongly believe in interactive learning. I allow my tutees to share their thoughts and counter arguments if they don't feel like agreeing to the concepts I teach them. I fully understand that Economics is basically quite a tough disciplines, dealing with human behaviors and policy changes in a variety of ways, I therefore help my students to take a comprehensive view of the economic problems and to discuss thoroughly all possible solutions to it.
